The Thirteenth Class

Caelan Reed seeks a place in Duskwing's 13th class of dragon riders, where thousands gather in Frostmarch for fewer than thirty openings. Commander Edric Thorne begins the first trial at once, and registration officer Bram Kestrel calls the next name without ceremony. Survival and belonging must be earned before any dragon bond.
